During her many years of Tai Chi and Qigong training Karen has seen and felt the many positive effects of practising these wonderful, slow movements.
She has also experienced how Hypnotherapy can help find alternatives ways of thinking, feeling and behaving. And how it can help you become more accepting of yourself and others, promote personal development and unlock your inner potential.
Karen has attended Mindfulness Training (Working in the Present Moment - Integrating Mindfulness Practice with Psychological Therapy, Coaching & Other Relational Work) at the Metanoia Institute. She combines her knowledge of Mindfulness, Tai Chi (which is sometimes called Moving Meditation), Qigong and Hypnotherapy to create her own unique style of Mindfulness Meditation.
She really enjoys the rewards of working with people that have on-going health issues which are proving difficult to treat. And she has had numerous successes, including helping people with Autism, Fibromyalgia, Myalgic Encephalopathy (ME), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinsons, Peripheral Neuropathy, Polymyalgia Rheumatica, pain management, phobias, strokes, anxiety, stress and post surgery issues.
Her aim is to pass on her knowledge and expertise to as many people as possible; regardless of their age, physical ability, religion, sexual orientation, gender or cultural identity.
