Self Defence for Women

Research shows that women who participate in self defence training feel more confident in their ability to effectively resist an assault.  And more importantly, learning how to protect yourself can significantly reduce the risk of sexual assault (compared with non resistance); self defence does not significantly affect the risk of additional injury.

We will learn how to:

  • Avoid getting into difficult situations.
  • Apply self defence techniques.
  • Target key points on the body.
  • Become more assertive.
  • Gain more confidence.

These 2 hour workshops are ideal for women of all ages, including mums with their daughters (under 16’s must be accompanied).  Prior knowledge and experience is not required, and you do not have to be super fit or strong.

Pre-booking is required as places are limited and the workshops are popular.

Dates and venues (in the Reading and Goring-on-Thames area) will be confirmed soon for October 2017, January 2018, March 2018 and May 2018.  Cost £25 (pay on the day).

Please contact me if you’d like to go on our waiting list, or if you'd like me to come to you and teach a group of your family or friends.
